Costa Rica Rainforest Hike

One of the great things to do when you are in Costa Rica is to go on a rainforest hike. There are a ton of great places to hike and some beautiful things to see. Near our villa, there are many groomed trails--many of which lead to waterfalls.

Some of the trails are a bit "rustic." You might have to cross a couple small creeks--depending on how rainy it has been.

It's a good idea to wear rain boots and bring a walking stick.

There are some beautiful flowers and plants.

You will see some trees with impressive roots. It's amazing to think about how long these trees have been growing!

At the end of the trail is this beautiful waterfall. You'll be able to hear it for quite a while before you can actually see it.

The waterfall is really impressive!
